Exact course content may differ as it is often tailored to your needs, but there will always be lots of practical exercises and interaction with the teacher to help your ideas blossom. Topics covered will include:

Something to think about
Writing is usually a solo activity and your ideas can be very close to your heart, but in a workshop situation it's beneficial to be open to suggestion and advice from the teacher and other students. So don't hold too tightly!
Bringing a note pad, pen or laptop and a bottle of water is recommended.
