If you're keen to build on the Beginners Acting course or have some previous performance experience but need to get your mojo back, Improvers Acting is for you.
This course will sharpen your acting skills and keep you comfortable in front of a crowd; it's the next step on the path to perfect performance.
Acting Skills Development
Improvers Acting is designed to enable those with some limited acting experience to deepen their understanding in a practical and playful way.
Exact course content may differ according to the course length and your needs, but topics covered generally include:
- Increased understanding how acting choices create spontaneity and emotion
- Preparing and presenting improvised and scripted scenes using imaginary spaces
- Continued development of personal playfulness and creativity
- Using environment, character and objectives to explore text especially in an 'Absurdist' play
- Performing as part of an ensemble
- Freeing your voice and body for performance
- Understanding stage craft
- Unlocking Shakespeare and classical text
- Modern rehearsal techniques
- You will receive friendly feedback throughout the course
Something to Think About
Wearing comfortable clothes and bringing a bottle of water is recommended, it seems to make sense.
Scripts will be provided.

Cancellations made within 7 days of booking and before your course starts: full refund
Cancellations made after 7 days of booking but more than 14 days before your course starts: full refund less a 20% administration fee.
