In our Ballroom Dance - Intermediate Courses, you will build upon the techniques learnt in our Improvers Programme and begin learning routines in both Standard Ballroom and Latin Ballroom dance styles. This course will follow Bronze Level syllabus.
This ballroom lesson is perfect for those who have completed an Improvers course or equivalent. Please get in touch if you are not sure about your level.
Ballroom Dance - Intermediate Course Content
Within the Intermediate Ballroom Dance programme you will:
- Learn Standard Ballroom syllabus routines (Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Quickstep)
- Learn Latin Ballroom syllabus routines (Cha Cha, Rumba, Jive, Samba)
- Focus on connection with partner and improved dance positions
- Have the opportunity to dance with a variety of partners in a social atmosphere
This class will consist of 1 hour of instruction and a 15 minute social (either before or after instruction), where you will have the opportunity to practise the steps you have learnt in a social environment.
No partner is required to join the course.

No Venue
All City Academy tutors are experienced professionals from theatre, film/TV and performance industries. So whilst they're training you they may also be rehearsing for a West End show or working on a movie. We like that and we do believe it makes a difference in class.
