Weekly Drop-in Drama Workshop

Call it a club, call it a workshop, call it a workout, call it what you will; City Academy's weekly drop-in drama class is your chance to experience the benefits of one of our acting courses all year round.

Whether you've enjoyed a City Academy course before or you're brand new to us, our weekly drama workshop is a fun, active and challenging class designed to boost your confidence, fire your imagination and polish your acting skills.

And the best thing about it is, you can drop in when you like! It's easy to fit in around your work and life commitments, as there's no final performance or show to prepare for. It's all about enjoying yourself, trying something new and putting a spring in your step each week.

Our Drama Club is run by an experienced workshop director with the occasional cameos from guest tutors to cover specialist skills.

Over a year of Drama workshops, you'll explore many different topics including:

• Plays, scenes, scripts

• Films & Screen plays

• Devising & Improvisation

• Presentation Skills

• Comedy sketches

• Creative writing

• Stage Acting techniques

• Acting for Camera

• Use of voice and body language

The list goes on! 

If you're looking for a stimulating, fun, social, challenging activity then The City Academy Drama Club is for you!

Membership of the Club is via subscription.You can pay in one annual payment or via monthly installments. Have a look at the options on the timetable and booking page.

The Drama Club will be ongoing with short breaks over Christmas, Easter and the Summer holidays.
