Performing Arts Classes Guidelines
Welcome to City Academy!
We hope you have great fun on your course and that your experience with us encourages you to develop your talent further.
We aim to ensure that your experience at City Academy is of a high professional standard and level of courtesy. We also expect that our teachers will be treated with appropriate respect and courtesy.
Following are some general guidelines that will ensure the best environment for all.
1. Please make your best effort to arrive on time.
We appreciate that work schedules and London transport can sometimes conspire against this, but it can be disruptive for the class if someone walks in during an exercise. Please switch off your mobile before entering the room.
2. Please don’t arrive intoxicated.
This can be intimidating for other students and can interfere with what you learn and achieve in the lesson.
3. Please do not keep a teacher talking for too long after a lesson.
We understand that you may have questions but please remember that the teacher may have another class to teach after you and need their break, or may have a long journey home and need to get going as soon as possible.
4. Please try to let the office know by email if you won’t be able to make a lesson.
It helps the teacher plan the lesson in terms of numbers and gender ratios with regard to script work, dance routines etc. Contact details for City Academy are:
