The beginner acting / drama course is aimed towards people with little or no experience in acting. The course will cover the following skills to develop a deeper understanding in preparation for the intermediate acting / drama course.
Movement, Body Language & Character Acting Skills

Acting Teachers
Cat Clancy
Cat trained at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and also has a degree in English Literature from Oxford University. Since graduating Cat has worked with the Peter Hall Company, the RSC, comedy sketch group The Hollow Men, and won the Cambridgeshire Critics Prize for Best Actress for her role as Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice at the ADC Theatre in 2004. Cat is also a professional singer and was selected as the soloist for Oscar-winning lyricist Don Black, in his masterclass series at the Theatre Museum. Cat writes and performs her own cabaret shows and has performed at The Ritz,and Pizza on the Park and Greenwich Music Festival.
Paul McNeilly
Paul trained at The Poor School and has been working extensively in TV, film and theatre for nearly twenty years. His many TV credits include: Our Friends In The North, Taggart, A Respectable Trade, Holby City, McCready and Daughter, The Bill and Cold Lazarus. Film includes: Outlaw, Saxon (Europen Independent Film of the Year 2008), Zebra Crossings (soon to be released) Shopping and Black Beauty. Paul is a founder member of NotGods Theatre Company, and has a film script in pre-production with New Town Films. Paul is also a writer and his plays have been performed at The Traverse, The Southwark Playhouse and The Old Red Lion.
