All the Salsa dance classes take place in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, they are exciting and energetic.
You don’t need to bring a partner, meeting new people is all part of the enjoyment.
The dance classes are structured with an initial warm up of footwork and body-isolation exercises, followed by
work on new Salsa patterns in couples and finishing by putting them together in a combination
or in a Salsa choreography (depending on the course level).

Salsa Classes: Beginners
If you have never danced Salsa before, this is the place for you.You will embark on a new journey, learning all of the fundamentals you need to know to get out of your living room and onto the dance floor.
This course will lay the foundations for your future vibrant life as a Salsa dancer, going step-by-step through all the essentials and breaking down every single move, making it accessible to everyone.
You will be taught the basics of the most popular Salsa styles: the Cuban Style (the real origin of Salsa dancing) and the Puerto Rican or so called the Cross Body Lead Style which is the latest expression of elegance and sensuality in Salsa. Along with the course, students will have the opportunity to attend Salsa events and nights out.
Salsa Classes: Intermediate – Level 1
To join this course you must have some knowledge of the rhythm and the fundamentals of Salsa.It’s time to leave the basics and delve into its soul!
You will go in depth with both Cuban Style and Cross Body Lead Style, learning about them and finding out what will be “your style”. Students will learn a number of complicated moves like Pivot turns, Promenades, Checks, Dips..etc, as well as Shines and your own steps outside of the couple.
Learning about musicality, unlocking your body moves and making them sensual and smooth will be part of the course. Special attention will be paid to the ladies and the men’s styles individually.
Body isolation exercises will make the class very energetic!

Salsa Teacher: Silvio
Born in Italy, Silvio studied ballet and jazz in some of Tuscany’s most prestigious dance schools. He soon discovered an overwhelming passion for Latin rhythms and switched his focus to Caribbean dancing, where, using techniques acquired from his background, Silvio brought his own unique spin to Salsa. In 2003 he became a dancer of the Cubalia Caribbean Dance company and performed in theatres, clubs and at many events around Italy for 4 years.
Silvio’s love for dance and his talent for inspiring that same love in others eventually led him into teaching. Having trained with top-line Salsa instructors and having taught classes for several years, he is now bringing his diverse experience to the UK.
