Jazz Dance Skills Development
Beginners Jazz Dance is taught in a fun and friendly fashion, with lots of opportunity to practise the steps and skills under the careful guidance of an expert teacher.
As with all dance classes , it'll help build your fitness and tone your body without too much effort!
Exact content may differ depending on students' needs and course duration, but topics generally covered include:

Understanding the fundamentals of basic modern jazz dance

Learning about posture, co-ordination and position in dance

Losing inhibitions and gaining confidence

Learning warm-up exercises

Introduction to basic footwork and co-ordination, corner to corner work

Learning up to 4 simple routines in different styles

Turns, steps and basic kicks

Something to Think About
There are one or two additional things we need you to buy for the course.
Footwear and Clothing
Recommended are trainers/ jazz boots or jazz shoes.
(Specialised stockists such as Gamba Freed and Dancia, which have outlets in and around London can provide appropriate footwear)
Comfortable clothing such as leggings, jazz pants, tight tracksuit bottoms, shorts, crop tops, t-shirts are recommended.
Don't forget to bring a bottle of water.
