Classical Singing
This is a singing course aimed at those who are interested in Classical musical and the vocal techniques for this genre.
Students will largely focus upon group repertoire, however, will often be asked to sing alone, to check correct application of techniques.
Repertoire will be chosen from classical works, mostly English to begin with, but some basic Italian Arias will be touched upon.
If you want to sing with your friends and improve singing skills at the same time, this course is perfect for you! The class will be taught in a fun and supportive atmosphere. It is open for everyone. The musical repertoire will be mixed but draw largely from musical theatre and contemporary arrangements of pop/jazz as well as on traditional choral works. Music Theory
This course is for those wishing to expand their musical skills and learn the basics of Music Theory. It will complement other City Academy courses such as Choir, Singing and Musical Theatre.

Pop & Rock Singing
This is a fun course that draws on material from 5 decades of Pop and Rock, so there is something for everybody. This course is suitable for complete beginners, and for those with some experience. Singing & Songwriting
The course is aimed at singers who want to hone their song writing skills and improve their singing technique. Ideally students should have already written some material and be able to play some basic piano and/or guitar. The course will provide the tools to approach their writing in a more structured and conscious way. The goal is for everyone to write at least one new song by the end of the course.
