Which Filmmaking Course Should You Take?

There is a natural progression route in film from pre-production to shooting to editing and then having learnt the basics – to do it all over again for the next film.

City Academy’s courses reflect that progression, you can go from Filmmaking Foundations to Film Shoot Weekend to Editing with Final Cut Pro.

But equally with film you may simply want to be an editor or a crew member shooting one project and then the next. With City Academy’s courses you can do one, many, or all of them in any order as many times as you like.

And then do it all again or do the Film Shoot Weekend again and Editing again after that or progress to the Advanced level of Film School Sundays.

1. Filmmaking Foundations

Taking the whole series of evening courses will give you a comprehensive hands-on introduction to the practical aspects of filmmaking.
