Our Approach
Our professional voice coach will provide you with a comprehensive, step-by-step plan to gain a natural and flexible pronunciation of English. Please bring a text of your choice to this course. This could be anything: a business report, magazine article or an excerpt from a novel.
Accent Softening for Clarity adapts content and course length to your needs. Focus points of the course include:
- Rigorous articulation exercises, strengthening your speech muscles to achieve clear RP sounds more easily
- A practical understanding of the placement and facial movements of the accent
- A detailed breakdown of the sounds of RP – giving you a solid foundation of the tongue and mouth movement as well as sound length
- Feedback on your speech and accent habits and techniques to improve your long-term goals
- Working with a variety of texts to apply techniques
- An understanding of how to apply the new sounds to everyday speech and text

Our in-person courses are primarily organised in Central London. For teams, we're able to provide in-person training at your offices globally or we can book a suitable partner venue for you to deliver training in your locality.
Are your venues accessible?
We work with a variety of partner venues around London many of which are accessible. If you, a colleague or employee have specific requirements, please make us aware upon booking to ensure we can find a venue suitable for you.
Do I get a certificate?
Our courses aren't accredited and instead focus on practical, experiential learning, however, we are able to provide a certificate of completion to you after your course via email.
Do you have a minimum age requirement?
Our public courses are for over 18s. For 1-2-1 tuition or private classes, participants can be any age. Content can be shaped to be age and experience appropriate.
Can this course be personalised?
