sing in sync - singing workshop

""Singing is a mega-mechanism for bonding" Dr Daisy Fancourt (2026)

In our Singing Workshop your group will work with a professional vocalist on piano to learn some popular songs and connect through music.

You’ll learn core singing techniques including breath control, tone, pitch and rhythm. Leading up to a final, in-studio performance your team will leave feeling lighter and more connected than ever.

Why Singing?

All cultures bar none use singing as a way to connect. Be it at sporting events, religious ceremonies or music festivals we all instinctually know the power of music and singing to bond with others. The activity is simple, effective and does wonders for our health.

Dr. Daisy Fancourt’s “Art Cure” (2026) highlights that singing provides significant physical and mental health benefits, acting like a “drug” to lower stress hormones (cortisol), reduce inflammation, and decrease depression. It improves respiratory muscle strength, boosts immunity, regulates heart rate/blood pressure.
