Foundation in Acting Course

Our Foundation in Acting Course - City Academy's premium acting course - offers an immersive and comprehensive training spanning a number of key acting disciplines. The course is perfect if you are looking for an in-depth programme on a part-time basis which is both challenging and rewarding. It is suitable for beginners and those with some previous experience of acting classes.

You will receive a grounding in the fundamental acting techniques of creating character, and developing voice and movement skills. Alongside working on these core approaches throughout the course, you will also have the opportunity to benefit from workshops introducing you to screen acting and improvisation. A specialist coach in each discipline will guide and support you as you learn the tools used in the profession.

You can join any module at any time.

Each module will develop and strengthen listening, observational and performance skills through a weekly programme of core subjects focusing on the different elements of acting.

No Venue

All City Academy tutors are experienced professionals from theatre, film/TV and performance industries. So whilst they're training you they may also be rehearsing for a West End show or working on a movie. We like that and we do believe it makes a difference in class.
