In order to do yourself justice in a theatre audition, preparation is key.
In this online casting workshop, you will work with professional casting director Amy Blair, and focus on preparing for the casting process in theatre production. You will experience a typical audition faced by actors in the industry. The workshop will build your skills and confidence, whilst giving you a realistic idea of the process and industry expectations for actors.

Whether you are looking to build on your acting classes and start looking for casting opportunities for the first time, or are a more experienced actor looking for tailored advice on your approach, the workshop has something for every actor.
This masterclass with Theatre 503 casting director Amy Blair is designed to give actors an insight into the stage casting process, an opportunity to have a real life experience of performing a scene in front of Amy Blair in a similar set up to how usual casting is carried out and a chance to receive feedback and gain industry knowledge.
You will receive friendly feedback and guidance throughout the session.

These courses are aimed at those with some professional acting experience at the minimum, if you are looking for a beginner level course please try our Acting Beginners or Acting Foundation courses.

Amy has worked full time in casting since 2019, having previously dipped her toe in that side of the industry alongside her career as an actress.
She has worked with CDs including Ginny Schiller, Annelie Powell and Kharmel Cochrane and is now casting associate to Anna Kennedy CDG.
She has experience in casting all mediums from commercials to stage and screen. Most recent Casting Director credits include Milk & Gall for Theatre 503, Margin (short film) directed by Daniel Rands for Grey Moth Films and Centralia, a new musical by Harry Harris, produced by RJG Productions.
