The ArcelorMittal Orbit is an iconic symbol of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the London 2012 Games, and the observation tower offers breath-taking views of the London skyline. The 114.5 metre tall sculpture is Britain's largest piece of public art, and is intended to be a permanent lasting legacy of London's hosting of the 2012 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The Podium space is right next to the Orbit, with views over the Olympic Park. The room is large and bright – with glass panels making up three of the four walls – and is the perfect space for a range of City Academy classes.
The venue is ideally situated in Stratford, only 10 minutes’ walk from Stratford tube, DLR and Nation Rail station. It is also close to the bars, restaurants and shops of Westfield Stratford City, so offers plenty of options for students looking to socialise after class.
