The Wallace Collection is a national museum and art collection in an historic London town house. There are 25 galleries displaying a world famous range of fine and decorative arts, including French 18th-century painting, furniture and porcelain, with superb Old Master paintings and a world class armoury. The Great Gallery has been described as “the greatest picture gallery in Europe” and has recently been refurbished with a new ceiling to allow natural light in – making it a perfect space for sketching.
The venue is located near Bond Street station – close to the shops and restaurants surrounding Oxford Street - and also a short walk from Marylebone national rail station.
For those wishing to stay after class, the venue also houses the Wallace Restaurant which is open daily for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.
Admission to the collection is free of charge.
