Page To Stage

City Academy presents: Page To Stage

Introducing the gallery highlights from our very first 'Page To Stage' event - a unique evening of new writing and performance featuring emerging talent from City Academy's writing, comedy and acting classes. The event was held at the prestigious 2Northdown at King's Cross on 14th March 2019. Relive the evening with our gallery (above), or learn more about City Academy Writing and Acting departments.

A word from our Head of Writing, Jon Barton:

"Our very first Page to Stage has been a phenomenal success with performers and audience alike. The event showcased students from our writing, acting and comedy departments, with a welcome and supportive audience that enjoyed a broad range of material. From spoken word to stand up comedy, sitcom to screenplay, and novel extracts read by the writers themselves. If you are interested in taking part at a future event, your writing must be of a high quality and ready to be shared with an audience. Each participant demonstrated exceptional skill with their work this time, and that's what we'll look for when programming Page to Stage."
