painters alike. If you have ever wanted to paint a subject, or a view, or to create an image from your imagination, watercolour is the best way to begin.
In this accessible and supportive introductory course, you will explore the essential techniques of watercolour technique, and master all you need to know to get started in this exciting medium, supported as always by a professional artist.

with the three essential techniques of watercolour painting.

to mix colours and avoid muddy and overworked images.

your sense of strong and vibrant colours and combinations.

You will need
- A device with camera and microphone
- A set of good quality watercolours – either tubes or pans.
- A3 or A4 pad of 300gsm COLD pressed watercolour paper.
- A selection of watercolour brushes -must include FLAT and ROUND brushes
- Low tack masking tape
A note on participation: Enhancing these skills requires practical and active participation. As this is an interactive, group class all students will be required to have their videos turned on.
