If you’ve always wanted to read music, our Online Sightreading for Singers Lessons will take the mystery out of crotchets and quavers.

Written music is a language like any other, with grammar, spelling and even slang – whether you studied music at a young age and forgotten the finer points, or you’re brand new to the discipline and need to know the basics, this virtual course will help you become fluent in no time.

As with all of our online singing workshops, you’ll learn from expert musicians in a supportive virtual setting.

To recognise note values, read crotchet, quaver, and semiquaver rhythms.

Notes of the stave, in treble and bass clefs, in an inclusive online setting.

Your vocabulary with everything from time signatures, intervals, accidentals and tonalities.

Your musicality with support from a professional musician.
You will need
  • A device with Camera and Microphone
  • Comfortable Clothes
  • There will also be sheet music that you may want to print out for reference during the online course
  • Beginner Friendly
  • Small Group Sizes

A note on participation: Enhancing these skills requires practical and active participation. As this is an interactive, group class all students will be required to have their videos turned on.
