Subjects taught by Andrea:
Pop and Rock Singing

Andrea trained at Goldsmiths University where she studied Popular Music, specialising in voice performance, recording and composition. She has also trained in the Estill Method, learning from Anne Marie Speed at the Royal Academy of Music.

Andrea has a huge range of performance credits, including working as a backing singer for Mara Carlyle in a sell-out show at the Royal Festival Hall, to performing as a singer/songwriter at Glastonbury Festival in 2013 and 2016. She has also sung at Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of ESKA’s English Skies chorus and movement, and has collaborated with Jessie Ware, Kwabs, Rosie Lowe, Rowdy Superstar, Alice Grant and Dela Sousomi.

Andrea loves watching as her students discover and explore their voices. Her classes are a balance between fun, technique and performance. She likes to focus on a specific technique each class, applying the technique to a song and thinking about how to perform that piece – and listening to ideas and suggestions from her students to make sure that her material is as relevant and interesting as possible.

“Andrea is an amazing teacher! She kept everything positive and fun. At the same time she went at a pace that was easy for us all to pick everything up but then at the end we were delighted at how much we managed to do! Great course and fab teacher!”
