Opera Singing lessons

Bethan Williams studied at the University of York, graduating with a BA in Music. She is a professional singing tutor, Opera singer, choir conductor and Musical Director.

As a professional singer she has performed with choirs across the UK and has sung with ensembles such as Britten Sinfonia Voices, Siglo de Oro, Reverie and The Portrait Choir. Some of her soloist credits include Mozart’s Requiem with Loughborough Orchestra, Biber’s Missa Salisburgensis with New Elizabethan Singers and Handel’s Messiah with Kingfisher Chorale. Bethan recently performed in Brink Productions’ Memorial at the Barbican.

As a highly experienced opera teacher, Bethan has experience teaching across a broad range of age groups and she always aims to make her classes fast-paced and fun. She loves the challenge of breaking down and communicating important techniques to her students.
