Her classes are half technique, based on the Estill model, and half repertoire. Music choices are wide ranging, touching in Musical Theatre, Jazz, Pop and Rock etc, and can be highly influenced by the tastes of the group. As a working actress, she also works on performance skills and acting through song. Claire’s upbeat style places equal emphasis on the enjoyment of singing as well as technical pursuits, so she is suited to those who like a giggle with their learning.
Brendan trained at The Royal Academy of Music, Doreen Bird College of Dance and Drama and the BRIT School of Performing Arts.
He has a huge range of Choreography credits including How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Phantom UK Premier (Rose and Crown Theatre), The Hidden Talents of the Ticket Tearers (The Old Vic Theatre), and A Midsummer Nights Dream (Greenwich Playhouse). In addition to these, Brendan has also performed in the Olivier award-winning production of La Boheme (West End), The Diary of Anne Frank (Upstairs at the Gatehouse), and Fast Forward 3 (National Theatre), as well as with Elton John in Concert (Royal Albert Hall), on Britain’s Got Talent (ITV), Any Dream Will Do (BBC), and Sleepy Hollow (Paramount Pictures), to name but a few.
Brendan is also a seasoned Director, having worked at Kings Head Theatre, Finborough Theatre, Rose and Crown Theatre, and on The Apple Tree, which was nominated for Best Musical Production 2014 (Off West End Awards) and Best Director (Broadwayworld awards 2014)
