Originally from France, Elsa trained in ballet and contemporary and graduated from London Contemporary Dance School with a BA (hons) degree in 2009. After graduation, Elsa started working as an understudy with Lea Anderson and Yolande Yorke Edgell. She then worked with Jessie Brett and won the Dance Bytes competition in Cardiff, Wales.
Elsa has performed for Toni Mira, Immigrants and Animals, Bottlefed Ensemble, Underconstruction Theatre, Theatre Nomad, Future Cinema, Evangelia Kolyra, Léa Tirabasso and Genius Sweatshop. She is also part of The Bee’s Knees, a Charleston dance troupe and has performed at Café de Paris, The Savoy, Claridges, Wembley Stadium and Venice Carnival among others. Her TV dance credits include Endeavour (ITV), Mr Selfridge (ITV), Strictly Come Dancing commercial (BBC1) and The Paul O’Grady show (ITV).
Elsa aims to create fun, enjoyable and inspiring classes by sharing her passion with her students.
Holly trained in Contemporary, Jazz, ballet, Tap, modern and street dance, and is currently part of the vintage dance troupe The Bee’s Knees, London’s Finest Flappers.
She has performed at and choreographed for many venues and events nationally and internationally. These include Claridges, The Royal Albert Hall, Venice Carnival, The Savoy, The Round House, The Palladium, The Duke of Theatre and Wiltons Music Hall.
Holly has a true love and passion for these dances, which she expresses in her teaching style. Her classes are great fun and she always gets the best out of her students.
The Absolute Beginners course starting on 6 October will be taught by both tutors. Holly France will teach the first session, then Elsa Petit will teach all classes from 13 October onwards.
