After completing her BA Honours in Performing Arts at Middlesex University, Helen trained at the prestigious Jacques Lecoq School in Paris and has an MA in Actor Training and Coaching from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London.
As an actor, she has worked with multiple award-winning companies such as Theatre Sans Frontieres, Fortune Cookie, and Theatre O. In 2002, she co-founded her own company, Fresco, where she collaboratively wrote and created 13 new plays and gathered much international acclaim for her work as actor and director.
As a teacher, facilitator, and coach, she has worked with a diverse range of people worldwide, ranging from television to individual coaching. Her expertise has led numerous people to successful careers in film, television and theatre. She teaches and directs at a number of specialised drama schools around London, including The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, East15, Fourth Monkey, and Guildford School of Acting.
Helen has been a tutor at City Academy for over two years, supporting individuals through a wonderfully playful and creative approach. She is a natural leader with an instinctive ability to unearth people’s talents and nurture every individual to their highest artistic potential.
