Subjects taught by James:
Since graduating from Middlesex University with a BA Hons in Drama and Performance, James has worked in both the corporate and entertainment industries, collaborating with big brands such as Grand Designs and David Lloyds. He has also performed as an actor, voice-over artist and presenter, with companies such as ITV, TomTom, Theatre Royal Stratford, Cambridge University Press, and Channel Four.
After realising the effectiveness of strong communication skills and charisma, James further developed this area by helping trainee doctors, vets and psychologists. Here he created practical workshops alongside renowned facilitators with the aim of improving their communication skills. From this, James then went on to work with organisations such as Cambridge University, The Royal College of Policing, and NHS recruitment.
James recognises that the challenges he faces daily as an actor such as making a good first impression, networking, overcoming nerves, managing rejection, and presenting to an audience, are common difficulties we experience both professionally and personally. James now facilitates sessions with groups and individuals to develop interpersonal skills.
