Client Relationship Skills
Led by an early passion for the arts, Peter studied Drama and English Literature at Rhodes University in South Africa.
Following a first-class Honours Degree in Drama, Peter directed and acted in theatre productions across the country focusing on contemporary performance, Physical Theatre and Theatre of the Absurd.
In 2007, Peter moved to London to work for marketing agency London & Partners. Key responsibilities here included Olympic Games PR activities and the generation of private sector funding. Peter recruited a record number of private sector tourism ‘Partners’ for the organisation including Addison Lee, Cadogan Estates and Malmaison. Following a company merger, Peter’s remit broadened to include recruiting and managing partners in sectors such as legal, banking and commercial property.
In 2014, Peter left London & Partners to combine his expertise in business and the performing arts and develop the corporate offering at City Academy.
As Director of Learning & Development, Peter is an avid believer in the transformative power of the arts for everyone. Peter works across City Academy to drive innovation as well as working with City Academy’s business clients to create tailored training programmes and team experiences.
Clients include Disney, Google, KPMG, Thomsons Online Benefits, Rocksteady and The View from the Shard.
