Subjects taught by Roberto:
Singing – Beginners
Roberto is a London-based professional vocalist who has performed with many famous artists including Paloma Faith, Sigma, Lionel Richie, George Michael, Gary Barlow and Coldplay.
He is a highly skilled and technical vocalist, musical director, vocal arranger and vocal coach, with extensive experience in both live and studio work. Roberto is also the Musical Director of the Urban Voices Collective – the official choir of the closing ceremony of London 2012 Olympic Games, the Baftas 2013 and 2015, the Royal Variety Performance 2013, and the Invictus opening and closing ceremonies.
As nerves and tension can really affect the voice, Roberto aims to create a relaxed and non-judgemental atmosphere in class – encouraging students to play with their voices and learn through their mistakes. He believes that each individual voice is a different instrument, and loves teaching as it is an opportunity to learn more about the voice and to challenge his students to develop their own technical skills.
