Silvia Birro

Dance Foundation

Silvia trained at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London after joining a professional ballet dance school aged 14 in Italy. She also trained at the Royal Academy of Dance and holds an ISTD teaching qualification.

She has performed with the Rambert Company in The Creation 2016 by Mark Baldwin. She also performed Songs, Lamentations and Praises 1979 by Robert Cohan, and danced at the Youth America Grand Prix Semi Finals 2014.

As a dance trainer, Silvia has lots of teaching experience having taught ballet and contemporary dance in Italy, and contemporary dance workshops for Rambert School of Ballet.

Her aim in classes is to create a connection between her and her students to boost their confidence and progress their learning. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience with her students and watching them grow.
