Stanley Young

Stanley Young

Stanley Young is a recent graduate of Rambert School, previously studying at The Royal Ballet School for seven years.

Amassing a wealth of knowledge in Ballet and Contemporary dance, Stanley is currently working as a freelance dancer and artist in London. Performing from a young age with companies such as The Royal Ballet in their annual production of the Nutcracker and with numerous choreographers and professionals including Daniel Davidson and Didy Veldman, Stanley has developed a passion for many forms and styles of performance. After transferring his studies to Rambert Stanley discovered a flair for conceptual performance and expressive movement collaborating with colleagues Joan Horrach and Mai Yabe to create a full length work performed at the Anya Linden Studio Theatre. Moreover, Stanley has worked with physical and sensory immersive experience for company Bittersuite as a part of Christine and the Queens 2023 Southbank festival.

Most recently Stanley joined company Wayne McGregor for Milan fashion week, working with Moschino for their show. Stanley has developed an open-minded and inclusive attitude towards dance and a keen interest to delve deeper into the potential of movement and physicality alongside other creatives and dancers. Further, believing that it is an artist’s duty to share what they have learned with likeminded individuals, Stanley holds a strong desire to share his experience in Ballet, Contemporary, Pas de Deux and Improvisation with other dancers.

“Open-minded, interactive and inclusive learning environments encouraging an individually led experience for personal development.”
