Step into the spotlight with our five-day West End Experience Summer School - an immersive Musical Theatre intensive designed to build your skills, confidence, and stage presence.
Perfect for performers who want to explore a wide range of musicals, this dynamic summer school combines the “triple threat” disciplines of singing, acting and dance while giving you real insight into the professional theatre world.
Across five exciting days, you’ll train in a supportive but high-energy environment, work on material from a variety of West End shows, and rehearse towards a final showcase performance.
Along the way, you’ll also step beyond the rehearsal room - going backstage at a major theatre and watching a live West End matinee to see industry professionals in action.
By the end of the week, you won’t just have performed - you’ll have grown as a versatile, confident Musical Theatre performer.

West End Summer School schedule
Over the 5 days of this course, you will experience:
Day One – Auditions & Masterclass
Start the day with physical and vocal warm ups. Sing a prepared solo from a suggested list (sent to all students prior to the course start date). The tutor will assess the level of each student and cast performances following these mini auditions. Take part in a solo singing masterclass.
Day Two – West End Immersion
pend the day immersed in the London theatre scene by going on a backstage tour of a famous theatre. Spend the afternoon watching a popular West End show!
Day Three – Rehearsals Begin
Back in the studio for physical and vocal warm ups. Start putting together the group numbers for the end-of-week showcase.
Day Four – Performance Preparation
Final day of rehearsals includes warm ups, completing and putting finishing touches to all the group numbers. Work on staging scenes, solos and duets for the performance.
Day Five – Showcase Day
In the morning, perform the showcase run through and work on any notes. Dress rehearsal after lunch break followed by a final performance in front of a supportive crowd of invited friends and family.

Yes. While some performance experience is helpful, all levels are welcome and students are supported according to their ability.

All City Academy tutors are experienced professionals from theatre, film/TV and performance industries. So whilst they're training you they may also be rehearsing for a West End show or working on a movie. We like that and we do believe it makes a difference in class.
PERFORM ON STAGE
Rehearse and perform a famous Musical on stage at a theatre in central London. Previous shows include: Legally Blonde, West Side Story, Sweeney Todd and more.
