Designed for experienced dancers, this course is ideal if you have completed Salsa Intermediate 1 at City Academy or around one year of training elsewhere. You do not need to be perfect - our tutors will provide friendly feedback throughout. No partner is required. Dancing On 2 Explore dancing on 2, including New York style, Palladium style and Power 2. Complex Patterns Learn more complicated patterns, increasing the number of moves and extending combinations before they repeat. Double Turn Combinations Practise double turn couple combinations, building confidence with timing, control and partner connection. Timing and Musicality Focus on timing, musicality, technique and styling to make your dancing feel smoother and more expressive. Personal Styling Develop ladies’ and men’s styling separately, helping you add individuality, polish and confidence to your dancing. Understanding Our Salsa & Bachata Curriculum Salsa and bachata are beautifully rich dances, full of technique, musicality, and finesse and like any true art form, they take time to develop and refine. Each course within our curriculum is designed to be repeated, often more than once. You’ll work closely alongside your peers and your tutor, who will guide you in mastering every element of the material. When you’re ready, you’ll receive a sign-off to progress to the next level, ensuring a solid and confident foundation at every stage.
