Bachata is a romantic dance originated in the Dominican Republic. Along with experts in this vibrant dance style you will learn the quicker steps of Bachata learning the mordern and sensual elements of the dance.
Bachata is danced all around the world and you can find a social in nearly every major city almost every night!
Students can expect a modern social dance, learn to lead and follow and finish the courses able to go and dance with a perfect stranger. We focus on technique, creativity, confidence and most of all fun.
We’re also fortunate to teach in a studio environment, which is uncommon in the bachata scene!

Understanding Our Salsa & Bachata Curriculum
Salsa and bachata are beautifully rich dances, full of technique, musicality, and finesse and like any true art form, they take time to develop and refine.
Each course within our curriculum is designed to be repeated, often more than once. You’ll work closely alongside your peers and your tutor, who will guide you in mastering every element of the material. When you’re ready, you’ll receive a sign-off to progress to the next level, ensuring a solid and confident foundation at every stage.
To support your learning, our bi-monthly afternoon Salsa Social is a friendly, welcoming, and safe space where you can practise what you’ve learned in class, build confidence on the dance floor, and most importantly, have fun.
Think of salsa as a marathon, not a sprint. There’s no rush, the joy is in the journey, slow and steady, with lots of smiles along the way.
Our role is to guide you and inspire you. We can’t wait to see you in class.

All City Academy tutors are experienced professionals from theatre, film/TV and performance industries. So whilst they're training you they may also be rehearsing for a West End show or working on a movie. We like that and we do believe it makes a difference in class.
Our Salsa Socials have something for everyone, from beginners to experienced salsa dancers. These evening sessions are perfect for those wanting to work on their salsa skills and meet new people.
Everyone is welcome to attend; simply drop in and pay per session you attend, or alternatively book your place online.
