Creative Writing Level 2

Our Creative Writing Level 2 course is a practical course for writers who are ready to move beyond the basics and begin shaping a longer piece of work.

Ideal for learners who have completed Creative Writing Beginners, or writers with some existing experience, this creative writing course gives you the structure, guidance and feedback to develop your ideas into a stronger creative project.

Working with an experienced writing tutor, you will explore style, craft, structure and storytelling in more depth. You'll focus on developing the outline for a longer piece of writing, whether that is a novel, screenplay, TV pilot, stage play or another creative project.

Creative Writing Level 2 gives you the time and support to take your writing to new heights. Moving on from introductory exercises, you will begin apply advanced techniques to a specific project and receive feedback that helps you understand what is working, what needs developing, and where your writing could go next.

The 6-week format allows for sustained progress, with space to write, receive feedback, reflect and return to your work with fresh insight. Your tutor will guide you through practical exercises and individual support, helping you develop confidence, structure and momentum.
