Acting Through Song

Combine in-depth vocal training with acting techniques: in our unique Acting Through Song Courses you will explore material from the world of musical theatre. During the classes you will master the art of acting through song, combining both disciplines to give convincing and moving theatrical performances.

Throughout the course, you will work on solo material with personalised guidance from your tutor, who will suggest songs that best suit your voice, vocal range and performance goals, helping you build a repertoire of material for future auditions and performances. Your experienced tutor will also help you select the best piece for the final class showcase.

Each week you will work on your songs in front of the group in a masterclass-style setting. This will be a supportive, open and friendly environment to build your confidence performing solos.

You will be encouraged to try new and challenging material for performance, with plenty of opportunity for individualised feedback and development from your tutor. The final class of the course will culminate in an informal showcase for invited friends and family, giving you the chance to put what you have learned into practice and share your progress.
