On our Method Acting - Beginners classes, you will step into a focused, supportive space and explore Method Acting from the ground up. This Acting course is designed for complete beginners as well as those with some acting experience who want a clear introduction to the technique. You will build essential stage craft, voice and rehearsal skills while learning how Method Acting tools can unlock truthful, compelling performances.

Guided by an experienced tutor, you will work safely with observation, sense memory and imaginative exercises, rehearsing short scenes and receiving individual feedback. The aim is to help you connect more deeply with character, strengthen your craft and deliver powerful performances that leave a lasting impression.

Is this suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. This course is designed for newcomers and those returning to acting who want a structured introduction to Method Acting.

What will we work on in class?
You will take part in warm‑ups, sense memory and imagination exercises, text and subtext work, and scene rehearsals with tutor feedback.

Do I need to bring anything?
No. Scripts and materials are provided. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in and bring water.

Will there be a performance at the end?
There is no public performance. The focus is on process, technique and in‑class scene work with playback or tutor notes where appropriate.

I feel nervous about emotional work. Is that normal?
Yes, tapping into our emotions for performance can be challenging. Your tutors will be adept at creating a supportive environment with clear guidance. Give us a call or talk to your tutor if you have any reservations.

Cancel at least 72 hours before your course starts to receive a full refund, course credit or a free transfer to another available date. Cancellations made within 72 hours will receive course credit instead.

Cancel at least 7 days before your course starts to receive a full refund, course credit or a free transfer. Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice will usually receive course credit instead.
