On our five day Singing Summer School you will have the opportunity to sing and perform under the expert guidance of world class, professional vocal coaches.
Take part in a full line up of masterclasses, lessons and workshops covering specialised techniques and a range of repertoires. Concentrating on core vocal techniques and performance skills, you will have the opportunity to sing classic and current hits from Musical Theatre, Jazz, Pop, Rock and Rhythm and Blues.

Singing Summer School course content
Our Singing Summer School has been designed to give you a solid foundation in singing. In a group setting, you will learn:
- Technique – developing your vocal range, improving your breath control and discovering a new found confidence in your voice. Students will be introduced to a number of techniques and approaches including the Estill voice qualities.
- Repertoire – exploring a range of music genres and harmony work during ensemble classes.
- Learning how to achieve a good quality vocal performance while using your voice in a safe and healthy manner.
- Solo – working on your individual approach and styling during solo rehearsals.
- Special Workshops to compliment your singing - Acting Through Song, Acappella, Songwriting and Movement for Singing.

WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND LEVEL OF THIS COURSE?
Our Singing Summer course is suitable for complete beginners and those who possess a passion and curiosity to learn more about their voice.
Students will learn about vocal technique, breathing, posture and application of this technique across a broad repertoire.
Students must be able have a good level of spoken and written English.
Showcase
Throughout the week you will rehearse songs, working on musicality and performance skills. This course culminates in an informal studio showcase for a small group of friends and family you may wish to invite. The showcase takes place in your rehearsal studio on the final afternoon of this course.
