Yes! Anyone can be a leader or a follower. Some people learn both. It doesn’t depend on gender—just on who wants to guide and who wants to respond in the moment. In social dancing, partners sometimes even switch roles during the same song.

No partner is required! You can join solo, and you’ll rotate partners throughout the class so everyone has the opportunity to dance and learn together.

Wear something comfortable that allows easy movement - smart-casual or activewear is perfect. Smooth-soled shoes are ideal for turning and gliding.
