Giulia started dancing when she was three years old and reached the top 50 in the WDSF World Rankings for Latin dance in 2009. She then moved to London, where she completed an MA in Choreography at Trinity Laban. Beyond the Classroom: I make mean poached eggs I meditate every day Approach: Practical - Supportive - Collaborative - Confidence Building - Creative Bio Giulia has since worked as a performer and choreographer for ITV (UK), the London 2012 Olympics, EXPO Milan 2015, and the 2017 Brighton Fringe Festival. From 2014 to 2018, she choreographed and directed winning performances for Dancing With The Stars in Panama, all while running her own 80s dance and events company in London. She earned a yoga teacher diploma in India and is currently exploring how to approach dance in an inclusive and holistic way through her project, Queering DanceSport, which she has presented at universities across Europe and the UK.She also ran the first gender-neutral Latin dance course in Italy. Her strengths are her enthusiasm and constant positive energy. Her sessions typically begin with a short warm-up, followed by learning new figures and practising them both with and without music. She takes an inclusive approach where everyone can choose to lead, follow, or learn both roles, with the freedom to switch between them. Her students often say that they feel comfortable expressing themselves in class, which helps them build confidence and feel more at ease in their own skin.
