Sing your heart out with City Academy’s Singers Choir - a vibrant mixed-voice group based in the heart of the City. From nostalgic 80s and 90s pop and rock hits to beautiful folk songs and contemporary choral works, this choir brings together eclectic music and a lively, welcoming community.
Led by Musical Director Eamonn O’Dwyer, rehearsals are designed to boost your confidence, expand your vocal range, and develop your choral performance skills, all while making new friends in a fun and supportive setting.

The choir is led by performer, composer and musical director, Eamonn O'Dwyer.
Eamonn trained at the Royal Academy of Music. He played the pivotal role of the Song Man in the National Theatre’s multi-award-winning War Horse in the West End, and has recently returned from a tour of the UK, understudying the role of Tevye in Craig Revel Horwood’s 5-star production of Fiddler on the Roof.
Singers Choir is open to anyone aged 18+ who has a passion for singing and wants to perform as part of a mixed-voice choir.
There’s no formal audition. Instead, you’ll join a taster session where the Musical Director will hear you sing in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Some previous singing experience is helpful, but the choir is designed for singers who want to learn and develop in a group setting.
Expect a mix of genres – from pop and rock hits of the 80s and 90s to folk, jazz, classical, and contemporary choral works.
You’ll work on vocal technique, range, harmony, and ensemble performance, while also building confidence and expanding your repertoire.
