Ideal for students with screen acting experience gained through our classes or equivalent*, our Screen Acting Lessons - Level 3 takes a thorough look at the industry and equips you with the practical tools you will need to approach agents, casting directors and garner auditions.
During the course you will continue developing your screen acting craft. You will also spend time with a professional photographer to get the perfect industry standard headshot and attend a masterclass and in depth Q&A with a London based agent or casting director. This is the perfect opportunity to receive vital individual feedback on audition etiquette and your specific casting type to prepare you for the next step in your Acting career.
After this course we'd strongly recommend the showreel package, for your final step toward your acting career.
Screen Acting Lessons - Level 3 content
During this screen acting lesson you will:
- Learn film and television casting and audition etiquette.
- Discover your casting type with individual feedback from industry professionals.
- Gain an insight into creating your own film work.
- Take part in a masterclass with a London based agent or casting director.
- Receive an industry standard headshot.
- Gain confidence in preparation for filming a professional showreel.

Training
One class a week for 4 weeks. Outside of class time preparation required. This course is taught in English.
Level
Level 3 course - for those who have completed our Level 1 & Level 2 Screen Acting courses, or who have a good understanding of Screen Acting.

100% practical, led by industry professionals. Individual and group work required. Small class size (capacity 12).
Screen Acting Lessons - Level 3 Breakdown
DAY 1: MAKING YOUR OWN WORK
In the morning you'll have a session on how to make a film project a reality, discuss your casting type and watch a short film followed by a Q&A. In the afternoon you will be working on your monologue selection ready for filming the following week.
DAY 2: FILMING
In the morning you'll be rehearsing and shooting your monologues on a DSLR camera, having two takes. In the afternoon you will have a duologue script selection ready for filming the following week, including character work and improvisations.
DAY 3: FILMING YOUR DUOLOGUES
In the morning you’ll work on script and character work to be done in a scene. Throughout the day you’ll film the scene in a 2 shot and close ups.
DAY 4: HEADSHOTS AND CASTING
In the morning you'll have a headshot session with a professional photographer and receive two edited shots to take away with you. In the afternoon you will work on casting and film a tape for review by a visiting casting director or agent, with a following Q&A and feedback.

All filming will be watched in class and you will receive notes from your tutor in class as this is more beneficial to your development. It ensures that everyone feels free to explore and engage without the concern of scenes being publicly viewed.
