These intensive Self-Taping Courses take you through the creation of a self-taped audition and the best ways to use the equipment you have available, even if it’s just your phone. It will highlight the importance of where to shoot, how to get the lighting right and setting up the correct frame.
It will also give you the tools to concentrate on the most important element of the casting…your performance.

This course is for actors that have completed our Acting Improvers Level or equivalent.
Self-Taping Course Content
During this Self-Taping Course you will learn:
- The difference between performance and self-taping
- How to prepare the scene
- What kind of equipment should/can be used
- How to set the frame and lighting
- To work with sound
- How to work with a reader to support the scene
- Rehearse and shoot the scene
- Learn how to edit, compress, label and send the scene.
Level
This course is for actors that have completed our Acting Improvers Level or equivalent.
Equipment
It may be useful to bring your phone, but it is not required to bring any equipment for this course.
