Join our five day Art & Drawing Intensive courses and explore the world of art through painting and drawing in our dedicated Central London art studio.
Whether you are new to art, looking to refresh your skills or build a portfolio, this is a great intensive art course. Gain confidence in drawing, learn about different mediums and take your art to the next stage with an exhibition of your work open to friends and family.
You will spend time in the art studio as well as the bustling streets of London (if weather permits), with beautiful architecture and busy cafes and restaurants.

Art & Drawing Intensive Courses Content:
Part of our summer schools and art intensives programme, during our Art School you will:
- Learn or refresh the basics of drawing in pencil and charcoal
- Explore the use of colour with still life pastel and watercolour work
- Begin a sketchbook of people, buildings and city scenes through outdoor observation
- Improve your observation skills with portrait and life drawing
- Gain confidence in your artistic skills and master various mediums

Art & Drawing Intensive Courses Schedule:
Day One
On our first day we will go back to basics focusing on pencil, charcoal and graphite drawing. Whether you are learning for the first time or refreshing your skills, this will be a fun and explorative start to the course.
Day Two
We'll develop more drawing skills, learning to make objects appear three-dimensional using light, shade and tone. We will also touch on perspective and other vital skills in preparation for drawing outside
Day Three
On our third day it's time to venture out into the vibrant streets of London (weather permitting). You will learn to observe and draw what's around you, drawing people, food and buildings. Throughout the day you will be creating a travel journal and personal storyboard of the area. There will be an optional visit to one of the terrific art materials shops nearby.
Day Four
Continuing to build on the power of observation, day four will start with a self-portrait exercise. In the afternoon there will be a life drawing session.
Day Five
For the last day you will bring together all the skills you have developed throughout the week and create a drawing, painting or collage. To celebrate the art you have created throughout the week, there will be an exhibition in the evening for family and friends, with your work on display.

Membership to the Company will cover you for all classes, rehearsals and all shows from your joining date. The Company rehearses throughout the year, with the following breaks: Easter (one week break), Summer (3-week break) and Christmas.
To make membership fees more manageable, these breaks are accounted for within your monthly instalments across the year. This means there are no breaks in your monthly payments.
