Screen Acting - An Introduction

This course is suitable for those with little or no acting experience.

If you’re a fan of films and TV and have admired moving and memorable performances, our Introduction to Screen Acting courses will introduce you to the techniques used by the actors.

Our course covers TV and Film Acting and offers a thorough and practical introduction to acting skills and techniques which can then be used for screen acting. In a fun and supportive atmosphere, you will explore different schools of thought on screen acting technique and style. Our experienced tutor will guide you through on-camera acting exercises with instant playback. Performing monologues and duologues on camera to gain the skills to progress.

Introduction to Screen Acting Course Content

Over the duration of this class you will gain a foundation of screen acting skills which will take you forward to enable you to produce a confident screen performance technique:

Please note

We will not  send students footage from this course. All filming will be watched and assessed in class as this is more beneficial to your development.  If you are interested in filming scenes to take with you, please take a look at our Screen Acting level 1, 2 and 3 courses where you'll film scenes to take away with you.
