In our Ballroom Dance - Improvers Courses you will build upon the basic steps and techniques learnt in our beginner programme and continue to expand your social dancing abilities.
This course is the next step for those who have completed Beginner Ballroom Dance Course. Please get in touch if you are not sure about your level.
Ballroom Dance - Improvers Course Content
Within the Improvers Ballroom Dance Programme you will:
- Focus on two key Ballroom Dances - (see timetable for reference)
- Learn Standard Ballroom Dances such as Waltz, Tango, Jive and Quickstep
- Learn Latin Ballroom Dances such as the Cha cha and Rumba
- Focus on connection with partner and improved dance positions
- Have the opportunity to dance with a variety of partners in a social atmosphere
Upon completion of this Ballroom Improvers course, you will focus on the steps and techniques of two different ballroom dance styles. From night outs to weddings and other social events, you will be able to utilise your newly acquired dancing skills. Please note that our tutors focus on various styles so we encourage students to try Ballroom Improvers with a range of tutors. This will provide you with a rich learning experience. You will also be ready to begin learning more Standard and Latin syllabus routines in our Intermediate level.
As with all of our ballroom classes, no partner is required to join the course.
