At this level all students should have studied flamenco for at least two years, as knowledge and understanding of rhythm is necessary. In this Flamenco Intermediate (Choreography & Technique) course, you will build on the skills gained in the Flamenco Higher Elementary course.
Your course will be structured around a warm up with general technique exercises for feet, arms, turns and bodywork. You will be building on skills learnt in the Elementary levels. Choreography is taught methodically and through repetition for each individual element, concentrating on technique and also on the mood and style of the chosen ‘palo’, further developing the content and structure each week.
You will aim to correct technique with emphasis on expression within the style being taught.
