Jazz & Blues Singing Lessons
Alex Ayling is a songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist. His music is an eclectic mix of styles and genres which have featured in various plays, short films and indie games.
A lecturer in improvisation and composition at the University of Chichester, Alex enjoys giving talks around the UK and overseas. He’s a visiting lecturer at the University of Southampton and the CEU, Valencia, having also having given masterclasses at the Academy of Music and Sound, Solent University and the Brighton Jazz School.
As well as being an experienced jazz singing teacher, Alex has supported notable artists such as Ant Law, Steve Lawson, Phil Braithwaite, Andy Scott and Krzysztof Urbanski. As a composer, his works have been performed at The Rose Playhouse, The Institut Valencià d’Art Modern, and The Chichester Festival Theatre, with some o of his music distributed by the record company Rehegoo Music too. Alex is also currently working with the London based performance art company ‘Unbound Productions’ on a new project.
