Dorna trained at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and with the Alvin Ailey dance company in New York. She has danced and choreographed for acts in the UK and internationally, including Scottish singer-songwriter Nicolette for her European tour and Glastonbury Festival performance.
As well as being a professional dancer, Dorna has choreographed and directed for the V&A working on their Asian, Black History and Islamic events at the Museum. In addition to professional dance, Dorna also has a reputation as a choreographer for wedding couples who want to wow with their first dance.
With extensive experience teaching students of all ages and abilities, Dorna is passionate about encouraging people to explore their own ideas and extend their knowledge regardless of their ability.
“The most rewarding part of what I do is the people, providing them with confidence in their own ability to express themselves through dance and entertainment. To feel a sense of achievement as they see their ideas come to life.”
