Pippa studied Drama at The University of Bristol and Musical Theatre at The Royal Academy of Music and is professional actress as well as teacher and Director.
Pippa has been the Director of the City Academy Musical Theatre Companies since 2010, and since then has directed ‘Cabaret’, ‘The Witches of Eastwick’ and ‘Sweet Charity’ for the groups, as well as writing and directing ‘Dick Whittington’ and ‘Cinderella’.
Pippa also teaches Singing and Acting at several London Drama Schools training young musical theatre professionals.
James trained in Music & Sound Recording (Tonmeister) at the University of Surrey, achieving First Class Honours, followed by a postgraduate diploma in Musical Direction at LAMDA.
James recently co-founded Avalanche Theatre Company working as both Producer and Musical Director for their sold out cabaret shows at the Battersea Barge.
James has won several awards as a piano soloist and accompanist, having performed on many recording sessions and on the classical concert stage. James is an experienced audition pianist, and has worked with casting directors such as David Grindrod Casting and Debbie O’Brien Casting.
