Lisa Akesson

Lisa has spent over 20 years in the business world as a Voice and Presentation Skills Expert. She specialises in helping leaders articulate their vision and deliver their message with confidence, credibility and impact so they can positively and effectively influence others. She coaches leaders to become memorable presenters at senior meetings, on panels, stage, in the media or giving a TED talk. 

Lisa has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. This includes, government, technology, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, banking, financial services, management consultancy, shipping, academia, media and luxury goods.

Lisa is a huge advocate for underrepresented groups. She is passionate about empowering women to move up the career ladder and affect diverse change at Executive and Board levels. She was invited as a specialist guest speaker on BBC Radio 4’s “Woman’s Hour” to discuss the effective use of voice for women in Political and Leadership positions. She co-designed and leads a course on “Impactful Negotiations for Women” understanding how difficult it is for women to ask. She currently delivers a Diversity, Equality and Inclusion programme for Black and Ethnic minority groups for a global bank.  

She attained her Postgraduate Diploma in Voice Studies from the renowned Royal Central School of Speech & Drama (RCSSD). She worked at London Academy of Music and Drama (LAMDA) training actors to use their voices for stage, film, and television – many of whom have played major roles in Hollywood films, West End theatres, Netflix and BBC series.
