James Aitken

James is a voice coach with experience as a linguist, performer and a teacher of English as an additional language. A graduate of the highly acclaimed Voice Studies: Teaching and Coaching MA from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, James has taught at some of the biggest arts institutions in the UK.

James’ specialisms include: accent and dialect, voice for speakers of English as an additional language, practical voice, vocal anatomy, and spoken voice for musical theatre. He also works as a voice and dialect coach for theatre, film and television performers, working in a 1-1 setting as well as providing show support.
